Our Mission, Philosophy and Values ... Our Mission is to develop young men and women with active and creative minds, a strong will to learn, a sense of understanding and compassion for others, and the courage to act their values.

Our Philosophy is that Interactive Education Academy (IEA) is an educational experience built upon a shared commitment to providing a most optimum learning environment for our students. Relying on the encouragement which we receive from each other, students, teachers and staff unite to establish an atmosphere supportive of academic achievement, creativity, social responsibility, and personal growth. At IEA, the goal of academic proficiency exists side-by-side with the practice of establishing strong core values of respect and love for others, family unity, perseverance, and self-respect. At IEA we nurture each other’s self esteem.  IEA students understands that the virtue of self-reliance must be tempered by awareness of his/her need for others and that the success and happiness of each person is inextricably linked to the success and happiness of all with whom life's experiences are shared.

IEA has built its reputation on educating students needing more individualized attention. We have maintained a proud legacy of achievement; providing education and therapy for hundreds of students with learning disabilities. We believe that not only students with learning disabilities, but exceptional and some mainstream students also require a more individualized educational environment to reach their full potential.

IEA Goals include:

·         Providing a program where exceptional students and students with a variety of learning disabilities (many with multiple disabilities) can succeed in learning.

·         Bringing challenged students with below level reading and math skills and scores up to and above their grade level.

·         Helping students become organized learners with good study habits.

·         Teaching students core values and social skills that will allow them to become useful and valuable members in society.

·         Establishing an understanding of core values exemplified by positive behavior.
