What makes Florida Virtual Christian School a Christian School?
Florida Virtual Christian School (FLVCS) is a custom partner of Sevenstar; a leading provider of middle and high school online Christian Curriculum.
Sevenstar is a result of the leadership of Dr. R. Mark Beadle. Dr. Beadle was the founding principal of Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy, a school that won national awards and grew to 1400 students during his 16 years of service at that school. Dr. Beadle is recognized nationally as a Christian school leader and an expert in the use of educational technology. Dr. Beadle has also taught all levels of students (elementary, middle and high school, and collage) and in the public, international, missionary, and Christian schools.
Florida Virtual Christian School is led by Bill Beers; the founder of the Dyslexia Institutes of America and Interactive Education Academy, has served hundreds of students with learning disabilities. Bill was a developer of development and delivery at AT&T’s Executive Training Center and Director of AT&T’s total network vision and platform development. Bill’s experience with education technology and implementation brings value to partnership.
Together Sevenstar and Florida Christian Virtual SChool are committed to providing the highest quality Christian education. Our teachers and staff will make us an enjoyable and interesting educational experience for our students and families. Our teachers have: applied; been interviewed; had their references checked; had a drug screening; and had a criminal background check. After this, teachers were trained and mentored.
