Quality Education for Children with Learning Disabilities
To provide your child with a quality education, we utilize the most current curriculum and intervention programs from leading publishers, such as Pearson, McGraw Hill, and Prentice Hall.

Our teachers have extensive experience working with students who have learning disabilities/special needs.

We place a real emphasis on individualized learning and limit class sizes to no more than 15 students, thereby ensuring that every child gets the personalized attention they deserve. With our small class sizes and flexible learning environment, many of our students who face tremendous academic challenges are able to earn a high school diploma. We are able to offer students the time, support, and pace they need to achieve their learning goals.

Our students receive grade and content appropriate work with accommodations that meet or exceed their learning needs.

At Interactive Education Academy, we serve students with a variety of learning disabilities.

The John McKay Scholarship
The McKay scholarship ensures that no child with a disability is left behind. It is granted to students in Florida who have been diagnosed with a learning disability and have an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). To receive this scholarship, your child has to have an IEP and have been a public school student with that plan for one year. This scholarship will pay for a portion or all of your child’s tuition.

Parents of a Florida public school student who are dissatisfied with their child’s progress in public school may request a McKay Scholarship by going to the Florida Department of Education Website. You can apply throughout the year, though applying for the spring and summer for the following year gives you the best chance to get a full tuition value. When you apply during another session, the scholarship will be prorated.

(Please note: Students must not be older than 5 on Sept. 1.)

• Students need an Individual Education Plan (IEP) from a Florida school district or a formal diagnosis from a Florida licensed physician or psychologist.

• Students must be at least 3 or 4 on or before Sept 1. Students entering kindergarten must be 5 on or before Sept 1. Students entering first grade must be 6 on or before Sept 1.
